Where the Goodbyes Are[]
Carossa: "It's so big! So old!"
Melissa: "Yeah it's ugly..."

At Zonnet Junction and looking for Wendy, Van is bumped into by someone. He turns and sees a small girl and questions if she was the one who bumped into him. He asks her to apologize which makes her start crying much to his shock. Suddenly, Van is ambushed by a small boy who kicks him in the back. He threatens Van for making his little sister, Melissa cry. He (Carossa) was the one who bumped into Van. Van demands he apologizes which upsets Melissa again. Carossa comforts her by licking her face, and she returns the
comforting gesture.
Before Van can say anything a man comes along and questions why Carossa and Melissa are hanging around, as they will be given a hard time if they are late. Carossa knows this. The man (Woo) warns off Van and follows Carossa and Melissa out.
Underneath the station, Carossa, Melissa and Woo meet with Gadved in front of the Coffin recovered from Meuuniere. Melissa comments that the Coffin is ugly. Gadved tells Woo to teach Carossa and Melissa how to behave, but Woo doesn't think it's his responsibility. Fasalina and Michael arrive to watch the coffin's excavation.
Gadved remarks that it is a special day, as The Original Seven are finally reunited. Melissa counts the members on her fingers and can only see six and Carossa notes that they are one short. However, Gadved knows the seventh member is here too (Van).
Carossa and the other members of the Original Seven watch as the giant coffin opens revealing the Armor, Saudade of Sunday.
The Days of No Return[]
Melissa: "Erh?!"
Carossa: "What are you hungry?"
Melissa: "Mmhmm."
Melissa along with Gadved, Fasalina, Carossa & Woo oversee Michael's adaptation to the newly recovered Saudade of Sunday.
Later, when the initial procedures are completed for Michael's adaptation to Saudade, Woo notes Michael is a model student. Carossa thinks its unimpressive as even he could do it, to which Fasalina agrees. She plans to leave on business and Carossa asks what kind, to which Fasalina tells him she just has a few loose ends to tie up.
Upon Michael's complete adaptation to Saudade, Woo notes his skill. Carossa wonders if it will measure up when it counts. Melissa's stomach rumbles and Carossa asks her if she is hungry. Woo criticizes them for thinking of a meal over a colleagues armor.
Dream in Progress[]
"I feel bad for him..." - Melissa regarding Van as he is beaten by Gadved.
Witnessing the fight between Gavded and Van from a restaurant window, Woo notes to Melissa and Carossa how the "old" riders (meaning Van) are useless until reconstructed. He think's Van's fighting style is obscene. Carossa seems to think Van is terrible, wondering why Gadved would want to bring Van into The Original Seven. Woo is unsure, noting that although it was approved by their Comrade, it is likely that Gadved is acting out of sentiment due to his past with Van. Melissa comments that she feels bad for Van.
After watching Gadved and Van fight some more, Woo, Carossa and Melissa notice Saudade of Sunday flying off while carrying their Comrade and Fasalina. Carossa is annoyed that they didn't even say goodbye and suggests the rest of them should leave, but Woo seems to want to watch the fight play out between Gadved and Van.
Upon witnessing Diablo of Monday being destroyed, Woo goes to leave the restaurant. Carossa notes that Gadved likely died within Diablo, and Woo affirms, noting that it was a good fight. Melissa is saddened by the news of Gadved's death.
Swift Brownie[]
Carossa: "Taking the train really bites. I'm so bored!"
Melissa: "Yeah but the scenery is so... pretty!" - Carossa and Melissa converse as they travel by train.
Travelling with Carossa and Woo, Melissa watches the scenery outside and comments on how pretty it is. Carossa is bored and wishes they could have traveled with their Comrade.
Suddenly, Melissa is shocked when she spots a "falling star" out of the train window. Woo realizes that is must be Van. He then asks Melissa and Carossa to take care of the delivery of the briefcase for him, as "something as come up".
Neo Originals[]
Carossa: "No fair! I wanna go! Comrade please let me kill this guy!"
Melissa: "If Carossa goes, I'll go too." - Melissa is willing to help Carossa kill Van to avenge Gadved.
At their base, The Claw receives the case Woo was looking after from Melissa and Carossa. Carossa tells The Claw that Woo stayed behind to "get rid of an obstacle."
Michael asks The Claw if Woo is fighting the man who killed Gadved. The Claw thinks it is possible and Michael asks if he can go too to avenge Gadved's death. This angers Carossa who wants to be the one, with Melissa saying she would go with him. Michael and Carossa argue until Carossa smashes a glass containing a flower that their Comrade was working on. Displease, The Claw asks Carossa to pin the flower to his chest, to give it's life some meaning. Melissa helps pin the flower to his chest.
Electric Fireworks[]
Carossa and Melissa overhear a conversation between The Claw and Michael. The Claw tells Michael he enjoys talking with him, and hopes he will gain new experiences.
Prayers Are For Saudade[]
Melissa: "I'm so glad you're ok!"
Michael: "Oh, thank you Melissa." - Melissa is relieved that Michael is unharmed.
Walking around their base, Melissa drops her Data Link. Thinking she has broken it, she becomes upset and rushes back to her room. In the corridor, she comes across Michael and drops her Data Link again. He fixes it for her, and Melissa is shown to be enamored with him,
Carossa appears and warns Michael to not upset his sister. Melissa tells Carossa that Michael was just helping her. Carossa then leaves, telling Melissa to not talk to Michael. Michael asks what Carossa doesn't like about him. Carossa tells him he dislikes everything about him, then leaves with Melissa, who thanks Michael for his help.
Melissa and Carossa then arrive at a meeting between The Claw and Fasalina, talking about Michael's progress. Carossa tells them that Michael was picking on Melissa, who tells them it's not true.
Melissa is present when a follower of The Claw informs them that Michael has been taken hostage by Zapiero Muttaaca, Domingo and several others who are demanding direct negotiations with The Claw. Melissa shows concern for Michael.
She accompanies The Claw, Fasalina, Carossa and several other followers to Muttaaca's stand off. This results in Muttaaca and his followers fleeing while The Claw accidentally kills Domingo with his claw. Melissa frees Michael from his restraints and is happy he is ok.
Michael goes after Muttaaca in Saudade, and Melissa watches him destroy Muttaaca in his armor Drakul over a monitor alongside The Claw, Carossa and Fasalina.
Prayer's End[]
Melissa: "Hey Carossa. I think we should go back. Our Comrade is almost ready now."
Carossa: "So go already! I'll finish this then! Alone! When he's finished with his plans. our Comrade will love Michael and abandon us. I won't go back to the way things were before! i won't! I WON'T!"
Melissa: "Alright then." - Carossa and Melissa decide to take on Van themselves.
Taking matters into his own hands, Carossa summons his armor, Sin of Friday, at the exit to the sea tunnel. He believes Van and co are heading this way and wants to intercept them for his Comrade. Melissa is unsure and Carossa criticizes her, thinking she is worried about Michael, although she says she isn't. He claims he will take on Van alone, but she says he can't do it on his own, so summons her armor, Sen of Saturday.
Having sent out two Drakul armors to intercept Van, Carossa learns that he is up ahead. He and Melissa arrive proceed inside the tunnel in their armors, but Melissa is still unsure. She says that their Comrade's plan is nearly ready so they need not worry about Van. Carossa tells her that he can go alone. He has fears that his Comrade will abandon them in the new world, as Michael will be the object of his affections. Melissa decided to help him.
Arriving at Van's location in the tunnel, Carossa and Melissa ambush him and another armor with a barrage of bullets. They manage to damage the other armor's Drill.
Van remembers them as the twins that were with Woo in Zonnet Junction. Carossa mocks him, saying they are hear to kill him. Melissa notes the other Armor and wonders what they should do, and Carossa tells her to focus on fighting Van.
They both fight Van, who notes their skill. He tries to reason with them, saying that they can take him to The Claw. Carossa refuses to listen and he continues his attack.
Van struggles to fend off both of them, as they utilize their ability to make synchronized an independent attacks.
The fight continues, with the other armor trying to shoot Melissa and Carossa as Van fights them head on.
Van manages to damage Sin of Friday, enraging Carossa. Ray uses Volkien's cannon to shoot Carossa, but it is intercepted by Melissa. Carossa tells her she can't hold the blast back with her shield, as she will die. She tells him that id she doesn't, he will die.
The blast destroys Sen of Saturday and Melissa lays dying to Carossa's shock. She begs for him to return to their Comrade, but he can't as he has damaged Sin of Friday. He is worried that their Comade will abandon him because of this. Melissa tells him she will always be with him, but she passes away.
Wonderful Universe[]
Michael: "Fasalina!" I just heard that Melissa and Carossa died fighting!"
Fasalina: "Yes..."
Michael: "Why didn't you tell me?! I could have stopped him with Saudade!"
Fasalina: "It was our Comrade's will. I imagine he didn't want to cause you any needless worry with your departure approaching so soon." - Michael wonders why they didn't help Melissa and Carossa.
In the aftermath of the battle, the protagonists bury Melissa and Carossa. The wreckage of Sin of Friday and Sen of Saturday are shown still holding hands.
Carmen retrieved Melissa's Data link from her body, and uses it to cross-reference their location on a large map they find in an abandoned relay tower.
Later, Michael mentions to Fasalina he could have helped Melissa and Carossa stop Van, but Fasalina says it was their Comrade's will that prevented them from leaving to help.
When Fasalina & Michael try to convince Wendy to leave, they are surprised by Van and Co. When they scold their comrade, Fasalina notes that they were the ones who killed Carossa & Melissa, pointing out that they are not so different to their comrade.
Prayers to Heaven & Peace on Earth[]
"If the data Melissa sent us is correct, then Volkein is equip with a long range pulse cannon!" - Fasalina fears for Michael's safety.
Having detected Volkein nearby, Fasalina goes to intercept him. It seems that Melissa* sent data on Volkein to Fasalina before she died, detailing Volkein's weaponry.
