Fool Comes by Armor is the twenty-fifth episode of the Anime series Gun X Sword. It first aired on the 20th of December, 2005. It is the second episode of the final Volume: Last Rites.
Synopsis[]
"That was the day everyone in the world looked to the sky. People must of had all sorts of feelings. Some worried, some surprised, some just waiting to see what would happen next. What, me? I just tried to stay calm, and remembers all the thing that had happened to me up till then. But the thing I was really waiting for..." - Wendy
With Ray dead and Van still missing, Carmen, Wendy and Yukiko attempt to divide the forces against them by splitting up. The Claw's plans are put back on track after being delayed.
Plot[]
With Ray dead, Michael checks on The Claw who is fine. The Birthday System is repaired and it will take 47 minutes to resume the reformatting of the world. Michael has Joshua locked away.
Fasalina contacts Michael, saying she will return to the base-of-operations through an underground route.
Having patched into The Claw's radio, Carmen 99 learns that their time is running out. She makes a plan with Yukiko and Wendy; She plans to sneak inside and wreck the distribution chambers using bombs. Yukiko will go and help Joshua escape, while Wendy will drive the Tanda to pick them up so they can escape.
Carmen encounters Fasalina inside the distribution chambers growing the flowers that destroyed her hometown.
While Carmen engages Fasalina, Yukiko finds Joshua, and the two begin sabotaging the launch sequence. Joshua wants to stop The Birthday System so his brothers death won't be in vain.
Just then, the Dann of Thursday reenters the atmosphere is challenged by Saudade of Sunday. After a long battle, Dann manages to cripple destroy Saudade, and goes to battle The Claw. Bolstered by Van's reappearance, The El Dorado Five activate a backup engine for El Dorado, while Priscilla reawakens Brownie, as they both take on the remaining knight armors.
Carmen's detonator is destroyed, while fighting Fasalina, preventing her from blowing up the facility.
Wendy rides the Tanda into the hangar of the base-of-operations and encounters Michael, returning from the destruction of Saudade of Sunday. She confronts him with her gun.

- Ray's sacrifice buys the protagonists some time to stop the reformatting of the world. They have 47 minutes as The Claw and his team repair the Birthday System.
- Carmen, Wendy & Yukiko infiltrate the base. Carmen confronts Fasalina, Yukiko helps Joshua and Wendy confronts Michael.
- Carmen attempts to blow up the base, but is intercepted by Fasalina.
- Van returns from orbit, and faces Michael with Dann.
- Pricilla and the El Dorado Five recover, and continue to fight off the 101 Army to cover Van.

- Carmen, Yukiko and Wendy hear that Joshua has been captured.
Carmen: "It's those God-damned flowers!"
Fasalina: "No rough housing now. They're a catalyst for inducing particle memory components. The Comrade's will will soon be spread across the planet. This is the moment where it all begins. Pretty aren't they?"
Carmen: "I'd like to see every one of them burn. These rotten flowers ruined my home town!"
- Carmen discovers the flowers, and is confronted by Fasalina.
Joshua: "Oh, you came for me?"
Yukiko: "Come on, we should hurry, Wendy will be waiting outside!"
Joshua: "Thank you, but... you should just go on without me."
Yukiko: "What do you mean?"
Joshua: "I've still got something that I need to do here. I'm gonna bring down The Claw's armor!"
- Yukiko finds Joshua, who wants to stop The Claw's Birthday System.
Van: "You know who I am, don't you?"
The Claw: "Well of course I do... Van."
Van: "That's right! I go by the name of... GAHH!"
Michael: "It's alright! You just leave him to me Comrade!"
Van: "You again! Our little IDIOT brother! Why aren't you DEAD YET!"
- Van returns from space, but is attacked by Michael.
Nero: "We've been walking this path of justice for over 60 years now."
Jose: "If we ever plan to test our true mettle, now's the time."
Barrio: "Great weapons we possess."
El Dorado Five: We bring justice and a fighting spirit!"
Carlos: "The best is yet to come!"
El Dorado Five: "EL DORA FIGHT! GOOOO AMIGO!"
- Thanks to Carlos, The El Dorado Five return to fight the 1-0-1's
Priscilla: "Hey Van! Wait where are you going? You told me you'd give me an answer when you got back!"
Carlos: "Easy there missy, I think you might be getting ahead of yourself!"
- Priscilla spots Van, but Carlos alerts her to the 1-0-1 army defending The Claw.
Fasalina: "You've been pursing me relentlessly what is it you want? Why is it that you hate me so much?"
Carmen: "You know damn well why. Because of Hayetah. Plus, the whole World's your little playground isn't it?"
Fasalina: "What?"
Carmen: "Whatever you want it's just your's for the taking. You can tell the man you love how you feel. You're still a bitch, but at least you're honest with yourself. Nothing holding you back is there?"
Fasalina and Carmen face off.
Michael: "Look I don't have time for this right now Wendy, I've still got something that I have to do."
Wendy: "Yeah, me too."
- Wendy confronts Michael.
